The Role
We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised administrator to join the DMU Venues team, providing vital event administration and hands-on support in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

In this varied role, you'll play a key part in coordinating our busy bookings calendar, managing a range of administrative tasks while working closely with colleagues and external clients.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small but passionate team responsible for coordinating room hire at The Venue and across campus, bringing to life a variety of events from conferences, dance shows, dinners, exhibitions and much more.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual who has a positive, can-do attitude.
- You'll be a confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- With excellent organisational skills, you'll be able to manage a varied workload and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- You'll be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and enthusiastic about adopting digital tools and technology to improve processes and deliver excellent service.

The standard working hours for this role are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am–4:00pm Friday. As part of a team delivering a diverse programme of events throughout the year, you'll also need the flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends to support operational requirements.
