Vets for Pets Winchester
Receptionist/ Administrator – 31.5 hours per week
Winchester Companion Care, which opened in 2007, is seeking a new colleague to join their existing team.
We are looking for a Receptionist/ Administrator to join our busy and well-established team. We have a very spacious practice with state of the art equipment and high medical and surgical caseloads. We provide excellent standards of inpatient care and we need great people to join our team to support us in achieving our vision.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied workload and thrive on client contact. We are looking for an individual who shares our high standards and work ethos.
It is an extremely varied role, duties will include:
- Booking appointments
- Dealing with all enquiries
- Taking payments
- Filing
- General administration
- Interacting with clients

Weekly working hours are:
- Monday, 9 am – 7 pm
- Tuesday, 9 am – 7 pm
- Wednesday, 3 pm – 7 pm
- Friday, 10 am – 7 pm
Reception cover on Saturdays will be required.
About you:
- Friendly, professional and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated, punctual, and organised with a keen eye for detail
- Able to provide excellent client service and be able to demonstrate their commitment to delivering high standards of accuracy in all aspects of their role
- Experience within the veterinary profession is highly desirable or experience in a similar client facing role
- Excellent communication and written skills: spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- IT literate, able to use Microsoft packages quickly and accurately
