Receptionist
Company Description
iForce (Part of the Culina Group) is at the forefront of e-commerce fulfilment, returns processing and carrier management. With its own in-house technology infrastructure this underpins the iForce offering to customers.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. As the face of the business, you will provide a first-class front-of-house experience while supporting key administrative, visitor management, health & safety, and site operations activities.
This is a varied role that requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, contractors, customers, and external stakeholders, ensuring everyone receives a welcoming and professional experience while maintaining site security and compliance standards.
Reception & Front of House
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, employees, and external enquiries.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and welcoming reception service.
- Manage access through pedestrian gates and turnstiles, responding to intercom requests as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area.
Visitor & Contractor Management
- Manage visitor and contractor sign-in/sign-out processes.
- Issue visitor passes and contractor access cards.
- Maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors comply with site health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate inductions and ensure completion of all required documentation.
- Administer contractor permits, including:
- Working at Height
- Hot Works
- Confined Space Entry
- General Works

Health, Safety & Compliance
- Produce and maintain daily fire registers.
- Conduct daily fire alarm panel checks and report any issues promptly.
- Support emergency evacuation procedures and assist Fire Marshals when required.
- Ensure compliance with site security, health and safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
Administration & Office Support
- Manage incoming mail, deliveries, parcels, and couriers.
- Monitor and action shared reception inboxes.
- Handle incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate boardroom bookings, hospitality arrangements, and meeting support.
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate approved consumable orders.
- Manage uniform requests, stock control, and distribution.
- Produce site documentation, labels, and administrative records as required.
- Support car park compliance monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and enjoys being at the heart of a busy operation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, or Administration role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional, approachable, and confident when interacting with people at all levels.
- Experience working with senior managers and stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience within a facilities, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environment.
- Experience producing reports and maintaining records.
- Knowledge of health and safety administration or visitor management processes.
