We’re now seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Receptionist at Frognal House Care Home in Kent. If this sounds like the right fit, we’d love to hear from you!


About the Role

As our Receptionist, your primary focus will be delivering professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home. You’ll also provide a variety of administrative services to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and handling telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate team members, and recording messages accurately.
  • Managing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and offering administrative support as needed by the General Manager.
  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy, liaising with Housekeeping to uphold high standards.
  • Providing a welcoming and efficient first impression for staff, families, and visitors.

About You – Key Qualities & Experience

  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills—essential for handling enquiries sensitively.
  • Is confident in using computers for administrative tasks (e.g., databases, software).

  • Brings previous experience in problem-solving and handling client complaints gracefully (ideal, but not mandatory).
