Job Title: Receptionist
Location: London - Bank Street E14
Full time: 40 hours per week
Shift times: Monday – Friday 07:45-16:45 / 09:15-18:15
Salary: £30,784 per annum
Fixed Term Contract until 21st December 2026 - but highly possible could go Permanent
We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our Primary Care Team based at Roodlane Medical. At Roodlane Medical, we provide private GP and health screening services for our patients.
As a Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face of our medical centre. You will provide a friendly, warm and efficient reception service whilst consistently delivering high quality customer care standards to both internal and external clients and contributing to an overall exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do
- Meet and greet all patients, visitors, GP’s and staff and assist with their enquiries
- Have a good understanding of the medical system and the relevant Microsoft office programs
- Issue clients with the necessary paperwork and explaining forms
- Deal with face to face, telephone and E-Mail queries with an excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager and Clinical staff to deliver the patient journey
- Be visible, accessible and approachable for staff, patients and the public and ensure effective communication and resolution of any on site enquiries or escalation of complaints to the Senior Receptionist as needed.
- Work across several prestigious clinics all situated in Central London

What You’ll Bring
- Previous knowledge and experience in the hospitality, service or healthcare industry would be advantageous
- Good general level of education to GCSE level or equivalent, 5 GCSEs or more preferred at C grade or above (demonstrated through a competency-based interview) or equivalent
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Computer literate with proven experience of Microsoft Office and experience of information systems
