Job Vacancy: Receptionist / Office Assistant

Location: St Winifreds Care Home, 236 London Road, Deal Kent CT14 9PP
Contracted hours: 18 Hours per week, over 3 days, may include some weekends
(Hourly) rate of pay: £13.00

About the Role

We are looking for a warm, organised, and professional Receptionist / Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of our care home. This front-of-house role ensures visitors, residents, and team members receive exceptional customer service while supporting smooth administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Front-of-House & Customer Service:

  • Greet all visitors professionally and ensure they complete the sign-in process.
  • Handle incoming calls and enquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming reception area.

Administrative Support:

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Photocopying, filing, and general administrative duties.
  • Support internal teams including BSO, Recruitment, and Management.
  • Maintain organised filing systems, including archiving.
  • Show prospective residents and families around the home.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Follow confidentiality, data protection, and infection control procedures.
  • Report accidents, equipment faults, and safety concerns.
  • Support Health & Safety, safeguarding, and whistleblowing policies.
