The Opportunity

Are you passionate about hospitality and enjoy helping people feel welcome and at ease? We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in shaping how they feel from the moment they arrive. Through a warm welcome, a smooth check‑in process and attentive support throughout their stay, you will help create positive, memorable guest experiences.

You will confidently handle guest enquiries, manage reservations and incoming calls, and share helpful information about the hotel and local area. Your calm approach, attention to detail and positive attitude will help guests feel looked after and reassured, even in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a role where human connection really matters — making guests feel comfortable, informed and valued at every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a smooth and friendly check‑in and check‑out experience
  • Support guests throughout their stay by responding to queries and requests with care and efficiency
  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails and reservations accurately and confidently
  • Provide clear information about the hotel, its facilities and the local area
  • Use the hotel reservation system accurately, maintaining up‑to‑date guest information
  • Work closely with colleagues across the hotel to support a seamless guest experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
