We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient receptionist who are ready to move into a role that will involve facility management and tenant event responsibilities. The successful receptionists will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and updating reports to support the off-site managing agent.
You will ‘own’ the striking ground floor reception, taking pride in managing every visitor’s journey, ensuring an exemplary level of customer service is delivered, with the ultimate aim of leaving a lasting impression.
The role is based in a fabulous building and is a short walk from Fenchurch Street tube station.
Hours: 8am – 1pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £19,240 pa
Key Responsibilities
- Managing reception
- Meet and greet all visitors to the building to ensure a warm and personal welcome
- Manage deliveries, including couriers and post
- Develop a local amenities information file - becoming the ‘expert’ in terms of local knowledge
- Stock check and reorder front of house supplies, as required
- Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders

The Building
- Support the offsite Property Management Company by ensuring any building issues are efficiently reported and managed to resolution. This will include managing maintenance contractors visiting the building / controlling keys, providing updates on progress to the facilities manager
- Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings
- Manage the meeting rooms booking system as required, ensuring the rooms are immaculately maintained and ready for use
- Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders

Social Engagement
- You will be interested in local news and what’s happening in the area and keeping tenants informed
- Research and deliver relevant pop ups, freebies and services which are of interest to those who work in the building, as and when required
- Introduce a monthly newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services– helping to create a community vibe
- Assist social media updates, ensuring all posts reflect the branding for the building

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- You have proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
- Vibrant personality and a can-do attitude to own and front this high-end reception area
- Proficient at delivering a high-end ‘meet and greet’ service, working efficiently and professionally at all times
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills
- Mac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office / Social Media apps and related software packages
