Hotel Receptionist
Full Time | 40 Hours per Week | Salary: £26,730 per annum

At Carden Park Hotel, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating memorable experiences through exceptional customer service. As the face of our hotel, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, making every arrival and departure warm, welcoming, and seamless.
You don't need previous hotel reception experience to join us. If you've worked in a customer-facing role and enjoy helping people, we'd love to hear from you. We'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but your role will include:
- Delivering a warm, professional welcome to every guest.
- Checking guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
- Answering guest enquiries with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Providing information about the hotel and local area to enhance each guest's stay.
- Ensuring guest accounts and billing are accurate.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding service at every stage of the guest journey.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working a variety of morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

What We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have previous customer service experience (hotel experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Enjoy meeting and helping people
- Are confident using computers and learning new systems
- Have excellent communication skills
- Can stay organized and work well in a busy environment
- Are a supportive team player who enjoys working with others
Experience with Opera PMS would be advantageous, but don't worry if you haven't used it before; we'll provide training. We value attitude, enthusiasm, and transferable skills just as much as previous hotel experience.
Location
Due to the rural location of Carden Park Hotel, applicants should have access to a vehicle or reliable transport.
We also provide a free regular staff minibus from Wrexham.
