Receptionist – Hey Baby 4D Preston
Hey Baby 4D is a leading private 4D ultrasound clinic franchise, and we are delighted to be opening a new clinic in Preston. We are currently seeking an experienced receptionist to join our team, working part-time basis from spring 2026.
About The Role
As our Receptionist you will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional and memorable experience for expectant parents at an important time in their lives.
- You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they feel welcomed, reassured and supported throughout their visit.
- Many of our customers are visiting to see their baby for the first time, so creating a calm and reassuring experience is an important part of the role.
- This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new private baby scanning clinic as it launches and grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking appointments for customers both over the phone and in person
- Welcoming customers to the clinic and assisting them with any queries
- Taking payments
- Explaining our scan packages and optional add-ons in a supportive and informative way
- Acting as a Chaperone where required (short qualification provided)
- Assisting with the cleaning and presentation of the clinic and equipment
- Taking customer feedback and relaying this to management
- Supporting social media and customer engagement initiatives where appropriate
- Completing job-specific training

What We Look For
- Experience in reception or administration preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Calm and empathetic approach
- Excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence discussing services and answering customer questions
- Ability to work independently within a small team
Due to the nature of this role, a satisfactory Enhanced DBS (adult workforce) will need to be completed prior to the commencement of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Working Hours
The role is expected to operate approximately 22 hours per week, with the current planned clinic schedule being:
- Tuesday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Thursday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
As the clinic is currently in the launch phase, these hours may be adjusted slightly prior to opening.
Salary
£24,784 per year (pro-rata) based on the current National Minimum Wage of £12.71 per hour.
A salary review will take place within 6–12 months as the clinic grows, with opportunities for increased earnings and additional responsibilities.
