Receptionist Opportunity in Theatres Department at NNUH
An opportunity has arisen for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist to join our team in the busy Theatres department at NNUH. This would be for a 9 hour shift every Wednesday, from 07:30 – 17:00.
This is a key front-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors entering the theatre complex. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reception services while supporting the wider theatre team.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is calm in a busy clinical environment, comfortable with IT (e.g. Microsoft Office and data systems) and demonstrates a caring, compassionate approach aligned with our PRIDE values.
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service within the Theatre department
- Greet and assist staff and visitors in a courteous and efficient manner
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and respond to both telephone and face-to-face enquiries appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient and administrative records using Trust IT systems
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Carry out various administrative tasks, including printing daily operating lists, ordering stationery and staff uniforms
