Job Description: Receptionist
Location: King Edward VII's Hospital, 5-10 Beaumont Street, Marylebone, London W1G 6AA
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Permanent (37.5hrs) Shifts are Monday to Sunday covering various shifts

Working in our UK support functions you’ll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. To ensure all reception and administrative activities in the Hospital are carried out efficiently and effectively.
To contribute as a support network in providing outstanding customer service to our customers (adults and children) every time they touch base with us.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Greeting and welcoming customers
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming customer queries via phone calls and proactively managing emails
- Maintaining a well-presented reception and waiting areas
- Ensure all customers have the correct paperwork to support their visit
- Ensure all customer details are correct, customers have arrived, appointments booked, changed, and rescheduled, where applicable
- Collect post, open, date stamp, distribute, and post outgoing post
- Working as part of a team
- Ensure compliance with the business Quality Management System
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Deliver an outstanding customer service by being friendly and welcoming
- Well organised, reliable and have a proactive attitude
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
