About the Role

Responsibilities
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, supporting the smooth operation of a busy 80 room hotel. We’re looking for a Hotel Receptionist with a positive and calm outlook, a friendly approach, who communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, has great attention to detail and a desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking reservations
- Dealing with guests’ enquiries and assistance
- Check-ins and check-outs
- Taking payments and maintaining confidentiality of guest information
- Answering calls and emails and ensuring a high level of customer service at all times
- Upselling hotel services such as room upgrades and dining
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are prepared and guest issues are resolved promptly

Requirements
To shine as our Hotel Receptionist you should have previous experience of working within a hotel reception and knowledge of hotel reservations systems. You should also have good natural sales ability, an approachable manner, and knowledge of the MS Office suite.
