Job Title: Receptionist & Office Admin
Location: Knaresborough
Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
We are supporting a fast-paced, customer-focused organization seeking a highly organized Receptionist and Office Assistant.
This is a key front-of-house and operational support role working within a structured, professional environment, ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also supporting administration, facilities coordination, and wider office support activities.
Key Responsibilities Of The Receptionist & Office Admin
- Manage the front desk, answering incoming calls and welcoming visitors in a professional manner
- Maintain reception and meeting room areas to a high standard
- Support general administrative tasks across the business
- Book meetings, travel, and manage diaries where required
- Handle post, deliveries, and shared inboxes
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to support office operations
- Assist in maintaining a well-organized, safe, and efficient office environment
- Support basic health & safety checks, records, and compliance tasks
- Help coordinate employee engagement activities and office events
- Provide ad hoc support to internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills & Experience
- Previous office, reception, or customer-facing experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to multitask and manage priorities in a busy environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive, proactive, and professional approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
