Job Title: Receptionist & Office Admin

Location: Knaresborough

Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 5:30 pm

We are supporting a fast-paced, customer-focused organization seeking a highly organized Receptionist and Office Assistant.

This is a key front-of-house and operational support role working within a structured, professional environment, ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also supporting administration, facilities coordination, and wider office support activities.

Key Responsibilities Of The Receptionist & Office Admin

  • Manage the front desk, answering incoming calls and welcoming visitors in a professional manner
  • Maintain reception and meeting room areas to a high standard
  • Support general administrative tasks across the business
  • Book meetings, travel, and manage diaries where required
  • Handle post, deliveries, and shared inboxes
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to support office operations
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized, safe, and efficient office environment
  • Support basic health & safety checks, records, and compliance tasks
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and office events
  • Provide ad hoc support to internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Previous office, reception, or customer-facing experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to multitask and manage priorities in a busy environment
