Receptionist (Part Time) – Castle Lodge Care Home
Location: Mere, Staffordshire (Part of the Country Court Family)
Hours & Schedule
- 22.5 hours per week (3 days, 09:00–17:00)
- Weekend shifts on rota

About the Receptionist Role
Our receptionists play a vital role in supporting the team across multiple areas:
- Maintaining filing and personal records for staff and residents
- Answering phones professionally
- Welcoming new visitors and guests
- Managing diaries and scheduling
- Providing clerical and administrative support
- Collaborating with the activities team
Key requirements: ✔ Acute attention to detail and strong organisational skills ✔ Exceptional customer service and communication abilities ✔ Ability to work independently and as a team player ✔ IT proficiency (email, Microsoft Word, Excel, internet) ✔ Customer-focused personality, adaptability, and relationship-building skills

Since you’ll be the first point of contact for most visitors, we’re looking for someone who embodies a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanour.
About You
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
- Customer service experience, ideally in a face-to-face environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
