Role Overview
Contract: Full-time (16 hours weekly, Monday & Tuesday) Location: The City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ Department: Executive Services Reports to: Executive Services Manager Closing Date: 9th July 2026
As the first point of contact for visitors, you’ll oversee the reception area, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient experience while adhering to health and safety protocols. This role is critical in making a lasting impression on guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Guest Reception:
- Greet visitors and manage signing-in procedures with accuracy.
- Provide clear health and safety briefings for all attendees.
- Telephone & Digital Communication:
- Handle calls, screen enquiries, and direct them appropriately.
- Manage reception inbox (emails) efficiently and professionally.
- Security & Operations:
- Uphold security protocols (e.g., signage, access).
- Distribute incoming mail/parcels and coordinate queries between departments.
- Area Maintenance:
- Preserve a clean, organised, and welcoming reception space.
- Confirm toilet hygiene and amenities (e.g., refreshments) are available.
- Front-Desk Support:
- Act as the primary point of contact for in-person and internal requests.
- Ad-hoc Duties:
- Support safeguarding policies (e.g., FA Enhanced DBS check publication required).

Requirements
Must have experience in:
- Front-of-house or administrative roles (essential).
- Microsoft Office (proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Exemplary customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to cover holidays/absences outside core contract hours.
Essential qualities:
- Friendly, approachable and professional demeanour.
- Self-motivated, thoughtful, and able to prioritise tasks under pressure.
- Excellent written/verbal communication for all audiences.
