Role: Receptionist
Contract: Temporary
Salary: Weekday £12.71 and weekend £13.71, aligned with NHS Band 2/3 depending on experience
Location: Tamworth

The Role
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Managing appointment bookings via telephone, online, and in person
- Handling patient queries and directing them to the appropriate services
- Maintaining accurate records and updating patient information systems
- Supporting clinicians and administrative staff with day-to-day tasks
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NHS policies

About You
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Confident in using IT systems (training provided for NHS software)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is desirable but not essential
