Part-Time Dental Receptionist (24 Hours) | Whiteley Dental Practice
Are you a friendly, organised individual with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming and supportive team at Whiteley Dental Practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with dental reception experience who enjoys building relationships with patients and being part of a modern private practice where teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional patient care are at the heart of everything we do.
Whiteley Dental Practice is a well-established, family-orientated dental practice with a fantastic reputation in the local area. We are proud of our friendly team culture, supportive environment, and the excellent care we provide to every patient.
Clinically, we provide high-quality general dentistry alongside referrals in Implants, Orthodontics, Hygiene and Cosmetic Dentistry. Our modern, fully digital practice is equipped with advanced technology, including Dentally, iTero scanning technology, intraoral cameras, AI-assisted clinical notes, and Pearl AI diagnostics.
Working Hours
This is a part-time role of approximately 24 hours per week:
- Monday: 08:00 - 17:00 (45-minute lunch)
- Tuesday: 08:00 - 17:00 (45-minute lunch)
- Friday: 07:30 - 16:00 (45-minute lunch)
The Role
As a Dental Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, helping to create a warm, welcoming, and professional experience from the moment they arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
- Managing appointments and maintaining an efficient diary
- Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Processing payments and handling patient records confidentially
- Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
- Supporting patients with appointments, treatment queries, and general administration
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
- Providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous dental reception or dental practice administration experience
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, reliable, and professional
- Enjoys working in a busy, patient-focused environment
- Works well as part of a supportive team
- Has a positive, proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Is confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
Experience using Dentally would be advantageous but is not essential.
