The Role

Job Title: Receptionist

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as a Receptionist, responsible for:

  • Maximising room revenues in line with company standards
  • Providing efficient, courteous service to guarantee total guest satisfaction
  • Managing operational and revenue-generating tasks in a busy hospitality environment

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • An ability to prioritise tasks in fast-paced environments
  • At least one year’s prior experience in a similar role in hospitality or customer-facing industry

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Operations

  • Stay informed about daily operations, including arrivals, departures, and special requests
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs prompty, adhering to company standards
  • Understand and meet guest requirements effectively
  • Ensure all payment, till, and cash handling procedures comply with company policies

Sales & Upselling

  • Maximise revenues through smart up-selling strategies, leveraging incentives and promotions

Administrative & Support Roles

  • Maintain team engagement through attendance at daily meetings
  • Manage customer enquiries, bookings, complaints, and requests—always with promptness, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Operate telephone systems proficiently, aligned with operating and company standards

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a hotel or customer-facing role
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with strong adherence to standards
  • Proven ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication – with both colleagues and guests
  • Practically proficient in telephone and computer systems
