Receptionist Vacancy – Stradbrook Dental Clinic, Tonbridge
The Receptionist role at Stradbrook Dental Clinic, part of the PortmanDentex group, offers a meaningful opportunity to work in a welcoming team delivering high-quality dental care. This is a part-time position, perfect for those looking to balance work with other commitments.
Job Details
- Part-time: 14 hours per week (2 days)
- Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour (competitive)
- Typical shifts:
- Friday: 07:45 - 17:30 (with 1-hour break)
- Saturday: 07:45 - 13:15
- Location: Tonbridge, Stradbrook Dental Clinic
- Contract type: Permanent
About the Role
Join a close-knit, established team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. Successful candidates will:
- Work collaboratively with a team passionate about patients first.
- Provide a welcoming, professional front-of-house experience.
- Be part of a network supporting over 370 dental practices across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal Receptionist will take ownership of duties such as:
- Greeting patients warmly and ensuring a smooth intake process.
- Managing admin tasks, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
- Supporting the clinic’s compliance with dental regulations.
- Maintaining strong communication with patients, colleagues, and staff.

Requirements
- Experience preference: Prior reception or front-of-house roles, ideally within dental/healthcare (not essential).
- Skills:
- Positive attitude, mobile and customer-focused.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Other soft skills: Good empathy, adaptability, and teamwork.
