The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for a Part-Time Receptionist to join our Watton office 2 days a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, growing and fast-paced law firm where you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and colleagues.
The Role:
This role will see the successful candidate undertaking the following tasks:
- Welcoming visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing the reception area
- Answering telephone calls promptly, handling enquiries and directing calls to the appropriate person or department
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Managing diary appointments, maintaining meeting room bookings, preparing rooms and arranging catering where required
- Providing basic administrative support including preparing and correspondence, photocopying and scanning documents and filing
- Monitoring visitor access
- Managing fire alarms and fire drill records
- Handling petty cash
- Maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with office supplies and liaising with suppliers to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Managing document collection and storage systems
- Providing administrative support to the office

The Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Ideally has previous reception and administration experience
- Has a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care
- Is IT literate, and an accurate typist
- Has great time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Enjoys a busy environment, is adept at multitasking, and has the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Has a positive "can-do" attitude and loves learning new skills
- Is a team-player who can quickly build rapport and gain the trust of their team and clients
