Location: London Salary: Up to £35,000
About the Role
My client, a leading London law firm, are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their dynamic team. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impression on clients while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of a prestigious law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of client care, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
- Greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle clients—both in person and via telephone—with courtesy and high professionalism.
- Adhere to agreed standards and procedures for all tasks.
- Control visitor access, recording arrival names and distributing security passes where necessary, while maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues as a team, covering reception duties in times of cover or absence beyond just the ground floor reception area.
- Book conference rooms using approved software.
- Arrange taxis, couriers, and record these requests accurately.
- Manage post and deliveries, distributing as required and keeping records up to date.
- Maintain a pool of IT equipment for staff, ensuring records are accurate.
- Ensure reception and conference areas are tidied and in good working order, including room setup, catering arrangements, and IT service maintenance.
- Assist with diary management, room allocation for meetings and events, and prepare spaces with refreshments, stationery, crockery, and glasses.
- Support setup for telephone and video conferencing.
- Coordinate catering for meetings and events as requested.
- Liaise with the Office Manager and finance team on administrative matters such as invoices.
- Manage catering supplier relationships, ensuring adequate equipment stocks and reporting any malfunctions.
- Work with the landlord on maintenance and security requirements.
- Process client requests for copying and scanning promptly.
- Handle incoming switchboard calls professionally.
- Carry out various facilities duties as assigned.
- Report to the Client Services Manager.
