We're looking for a Recognition Coordinator to support the delivery of organisational awards and recognition programmes, ensuring colleagues and volunteers are recognised for their valuable contribution to saving lives at sea.
The Role
Working within the Volunteer Development Team for this well recognised charity, you will coordinate a range of awards from nomination through to presentation, liaising with stakeholders, managing records, processing nominations, and ensuring awards are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process award nominations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for recognition and awards enquiries.
- Coordinate the ordering, preparation, and dispatch of awards, certificates, and long-service recognition.
- Maintain accurate records and award information across internal systems.
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the organisation of recognition events and continuous improvement of award processes.
- Monitor stock levels and process purchase orders and invoices.

About You
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
- Proven customer service, stakeholder engagement, or relationship management experience.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working with volunteers or within a charitable organisation would be advantageous.
