Recognition Manager – OxfordAQA
About the Role
The Recognition Manager is responsible for securing, maintaining, and enhancing the recognition of OxfordAQA qualifications across both new and existing international markets. This involves engaging with ministries of education, regulators, universities, qualification bodies, and other key stakeholders to ensure OxfordAQA qualifications are approved, valued, and clearly understood globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all recognition activity in new and existing countries, securing required national or regional approvals.
- Monitor and respond to regulatory or policy changes that impact the acceptance of OxfordAQA qualifications.
- Prepare recognition submissions and formal documentation for ministries or regulators.
- Manage relationships with universities, ministries of education, and other stakeholders.
- Represent OxfordAQA at major international conferences (e.g., EAIE, UK ENIC).
- Deliver recognition webinars and advocacy sessions.
- Develop clear recognition messaging and guidance materials.
- Provide expert advice to sales teams, schools, and partners.
- Act as the internal expert on recognition.
- Ensure teams have accurate, up-to-date recognition information.

About You
This role calls for exceptional candidates with:
- A strong understanding of global education systems.
- Experience working with ministries, higher education institutions, or regulators.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Experience in recognition or regulatory roles (preferred).
- Familiarity with UK qualifications (preferred).
- Experience engaging with recognition bodies or higher education conferences (preferred).
