We are working with a leading provider of medical protection and risk management services to recruit a talented Reconciliation Accountant to join their Finance team.
The Role
As a Reconciliation Accountant, you will support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and control processes, with a strong focus on balance sheet and bank reconciliations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to investigate discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure compliance with financial governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and manage regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes
- Prepare and deliver management information and reporting
- Maintain and improve reconciliation processes and controls
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Finance

About You
- AAT qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working in a Financial Services or corporate environment
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Experience handling large or complex reconciliations
- Confident working with financial systems (e.g. Excel, ERP systems)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to meet deadlines
