Records Officer (Information Governance / Knowledge and Information Management (K&IM))
Location: Hybrid - Mansfield (Nottinghamshire)
- Proven track record in physical and digital records management, ideally within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments, with practical exposure to FOI and SAR processes.
- Proficiency in navigating Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) alongside related information management tools to drive data quality and migration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of records lifecycle management, information governance, data protection principles, and secure handling of confidential data.
- Ability to conduct deep-dive record searches, manage retention/disposal schedules, and physically oversee secure storage facilities (including working at heights and lifting heavy loads).
- Excellent communication skills to manage internal/external service requests, coordinate stakeholder visits, and handle invoices or service charges.
- Compliance-driven information governance, regulatory data handling, and physical/digital archiving infrastructure.
