We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

As a Recovery Coordinator, you’ll work closely with individuals using our services, supporting and empowering them to achieve their goals and build a brighter future. Every day, you’ll help people take meaningful steps towards the life they want to lead. In this role, you’ll be part of the West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network, working within the West Team across two hubs in Bognor Regis and Chichester.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Role Overview

You will primarily work within our Generic Team, with opportunities to support other teams depending on service needs. The team provides person-centred support to individuals experiencing drug and alcohol issues, helping them achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a structured caseload of clients, ensuring consistent engagement and delivery of high-quality support.
  • Provide tailored interventions to meet individual needs while maintaining accurate, timely, and detailed case records.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of safeguarding, identifying, assessing, and responding appropriately to risk.
  • Liaise effectively with external agencies and partner organisations to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and service demands.

The service operates flexibly to meet client needs, including a late opening during the week and Saturday morning provision. Recovery Coordinators are expected to work during these times as required, participating in a rota system to ensure consistent service delivery.

About You

  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, showing flexibility and resilience when priorities need to change.
  • Attention to detail is essential, alongside confidence in completing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding principles and either experience in, or the ability to develop skills in, managing a caseload.
  • Strong IT skills are essential, as you will be required to use digital systems for recording, reporting, and communication within the service.
