Detox and Rehabilitation Worker
Location: Southwark | Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week | Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking a Determined, Dedicated Detox and Rehabilitation Worker to join our Southwark service. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives as they transition towards recovery.
The Impact of Your Work
Your role will be critical in supporting individuals undergoing community, inpatient, or hospital-based detoxification and rehabilitation. You will be responsible for:
- Providing effective case management and coordination
- Developing and supporting individual recovery plans, with a focus on detoxification preparation and ongoing support
- Ensuring service users progress towards long-term recovery goals
Key Responsibilities
- Assist service users in detoxification and rehabilitation pathways, helping them achieve their health and recovery milestones
- Collaborate with clinical and social care teams to deliver evidence-based interventions
- Prepare and support individuals during detox periods, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Facilitate group and one-to-one psychosocial interventions to empowerment recovery journeys

Who We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Experience working in drug and alcohol services or a related health and social care environment
- Proficiency in addressing clinical prescribing issues
- Ability to deliver structured community detox programmes
- Expertise in evidence-based psychosocial interventions, both individual and group-based

Salary & Structure
- Point range: 23 to 28 | Salary (base): £28,557.79 – £32,802.41
- £4,236.47 Inner London weighting adjustment included
