Position

Mental Health Support Worker

Contract Type

Permanent - Fully office based

Salary

Β£26,980

Rota Basis Hours

  • 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
  • One late shift of 12:30pm - 9pm
  • Weekend shifts are 9am - 9pm Saturday and Sunday, or 10am - 8pm Saturday and Sunday

  • Psychology undergraduate degree or equivalent

What You'll Do

  • Support Clients: Provide tailored support and guidance to individuals in recovery, helping them set and achieve personal goals
  • Collaborate: Work closely with a diverse team of professionals to create individualised recovery plans
  • Facilitate Workshops: Organise and lead workshops that promote skills development, resilience, and self-confidence
  • Community Engagement: Foster connections within the community to enhance support networks for clients
  • Monitor Progress: Regularly assess clients' progress and adjust recovery plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

  • Experience: Proven experience in recovery support, social work, or a related field
  • Empathy: A genuine passion for helping others and a strong understanding of the recovery process
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
