This is an exciting opportunity to join Change Grow Live as part of a new service in Blackpool, supporting individuals and communities affected by substance use.

As we begin this new chapter in Blackpool, we are looking for two Recovery Coordinators to help shape a service that is compassionate, innovative, and rooted in the needs of the local community.
This is more than a Recovery Coordinator role. It is an opportunity to be part of building a new service from the beginning — helping to create positive pathways for recovery, strengthen local partnerships, and make a lasting impact for the people we support.
About The Role
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will work directly with people affected by substance use, you will support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing person-centred interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and independence.

About You
We are looking for people who are compassionate, motivated, and committed to supporting recovery.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working within substance misuse, mental health, health, social care, or related services
- A good understanding of recovery and harm reduction approaches
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities within a busy service
- Good IT and organisational skills
- A collaborative and flexible approach to team working
Most importantly, you will share our belief that recovery is possible for everyone.

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
About The Role
You will support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing person-centred interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and independence.
The role will include:
- Managing a caseload of service users
- Completing assessments, recovery plans, and onward referrals
- Delivering harm reduction and recovery-focused interventions
- Supporting people to improve wellbeing and social inclusion
- Facilitating group work and structured support sessions
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams
- Promoting long-term recovery and positive outcomes
