Job Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Family Team Recovery Coordinator to join our dedicated Swindon service. You will ensure a high quality and consistent service to families with either drug and/or alcohol related issues engaged with Children's' Services as part of the Family Safeguarding Service.
Location: Swindon
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week
Contract type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027
About the Role
- Deliver outreach services to families promoting access for service users and concerned others
- Promote carer, service user and community involvement
- Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
- Work with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination
- Adhere to CGL policies and processes in delivery of services - particularly lone working and health and safety related to working with complex service users.
- Undertake focused work with families of interest
- Provide rapid and flexible interventions where required to meet the needs of the service users

About You
- Commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group
- Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
- Experience of safeguarding and working in the substance misuse field
- Knowledge of the issues facing families where substance misuse is present
- Good knowledge of local community-based support practices
