As the capital’s largest bus operator, with over 2,500 vehicles across 18 locations, we play a vital role in millions of journeys every day. We are now expanding our in-house engineering team and introducing an exciting new opportunity: Heavy Vehicle Recovery Operator.

Heavy Vehicle Recovery Operator
📍 Based at Stockwell Bus Garage
💷 £924.51 per week / £48,074.52 yearly salary
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience operating heavy recovery vehicles (HGV/PSV recovery background desirable)
- A valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV licence with Driver CPC
- Strong knowledge of recovery techniques, load security, and roadside safety procedures
- Ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure, solving problems independently
- A professional, customer-focused approach when representing Go-Ahead London
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
