North Northamptonshire

The right conversation can change a life.

Recovery doesn't happen overnight.

It starts with someone who listens without judgement, builds trust and believes that change is always possible.

At Change Grow Live, that's what we do every day.

We're looking for a Recovery Worker to join our North Northamptonshire service, supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use to build healthier, safer and more hopeful futures.

Every person who walks through our doors has their own story, strengths and aspirations. You'll work alongside them to understand what matters most, helping them overcome challenges, build confidence and take positive steps towards recovery.

If you're passionate about people, believe in the power of relationships and want a career where every day has purpose, we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity

No two days are the same.

One day you could be carrying out an assessment with someone accessing support for the first time. The next, you'll be helping someone develop a recovery plan, delivering group sessions, working alongside partner agencies or supporting someone to reconnect with their family, employment or local community.

You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate, recovery-focused support that empowers people to make informed choices and achieve lasting change.

From reducing harm and promoting health to building resilience and recovery capital, your work will help people take meaningful steps towards the future they want.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
