Hours & Salary
- Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
- Full-time salary range: £27,861.26 – £32,002.35*
⚠️ Note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
About the Role
Responsibilities
- Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with the service through their treatment and recovery journey.
- Conduct screening, assessment, and recovery planning, facilitating onward referrals as needed.
- Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing harm caused by opiate use, including group sessions and one-on-one engagement.
- Ensure service users receive a comprehensive recovery-focused plan (including pre-detox preparation and post-care support).
- Collaborate with other organisations and community networks, connecting service users to mutual aid groups and support networks.
- Advocate for family members, service users, and the community to ensure their needs are heard in accessing partnership services.
- Act as a voice for service users when navigating partnership services.
- Work closely with service users to support their social (re)integration, helping them lead fulfilling and purpose-driven lives by promoting:
- Recovery
- Resilience
- Peer support
- Self-determination

About You
Job Requirements
- Deep understanding of drug and alcohol issues and relevant field experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in IT systems.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with efficient time management and prioritisation.
- Knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse professionals, agencies, and stakeholders while fostering a supportive team environment.
- Adaptable to change, with a primary focus on meeting the needs of service users.
- Commitment to information governance processes and adherence to safeguarding standards.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning to strengthen professional knowledge and contribute to team development.
