The Role
Joining the Recreation Team as a Recreation Craftsperson, your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring cleanliness – Maintain visitor sites and carparks by:
- Daily waste collection and disposal from bins
- Litter picking
- General upkeep and facility maintenance

Site security – Operating the unlocking of gates and barriers, following a weekly rota to include:
- Alternate weekends
- Regular public holidays
- Occasional out-of-hours events

Visitor experience – Supporting the broader team to deliver a high-quality, safe, and enjoyable experience for guests

Operational support – Participating on a seven-day rota to fulfil recreation needs, including a mix of daytime and off-hour tasks.
Where You’ll Work
Location: Based at Beechenhurst, GL16 7EL, covering the entire Forest of Dean.
