As Regent continues expanding its global footprint, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support talent acquisition for leadership and critical roles across our portfolio and corporate teams, with a focus on Europe-based operations.

Position Overview

The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier executive and senior leadership talent across Regent's portfolio companies and corporate functions. This London-based role will report to the Executive Recruiter in London, with a dotted reporting line to the Managing Partner, Europe.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of private equity, operations, and talent strategy, helping to shape leadership teams that drive transformation and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Search Execution: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for C-suite, VP, and senior-level hires across Europe, spanning portfolio companies and Regent’s internal functions.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with Operating Partners, portfolio company CEOs, and Regent’s leadership team to understand hiring needs and define role requirements.
  • Candidate Identification: Proactively source, assess, and engage high-caliber candidates using direct sourcing, executive search methodologies, and Regent’s network.
  • Process Management: Oversee interview coordination, candidate assessments, offer negotiations, and onboarding support.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide insights on executive talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape in relevant sectors.
  • Talent Pipelining: Build and maintain a strategic talent pipeline for anticipated hiring needs across the European region.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a high-touch, professional candidate experience that reflects Regent’s brand and values.

Experience & Background

  • 3+ years of experience in executive search, ideally with a top-tier executive search firm or in-house at a private equity or global investment firm.
  • Proven track record of placing executive-level talent in operational and leadership roles, preferably within industrials, consumer, automotive, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of private equity and portfolio company dynamics is a plus.

  • Deep sourcing and talent assessment expertise.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Fluency in English; French and German are a plus.
