Coverage: Germany & Austria
Languages: Fluent German & English required

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Recruiter (with German & English) to join our growing EMEA talent team based in Edinburgh for a pharmaceutical client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment, enjoys operating across both permanent and contingent hiring, and is passionate about delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. You will play a key role in supporting hiring across the Germany Hub, partnering closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and external agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes across a variety of roles.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Recruiter, you will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders:

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for entry- to mid-level roles, from sourcing to offer
  • Lead end-to-end hiring for mid- to senior-level positions across Germany and Austria
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and guide hiring decisions

Stakeholder & Candidate Management

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, apprentices, trainees, and interns to understand hiring needs
  • Deliver a high-quality, engaging candidate experience across all stages
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align recruitment strategies

Contingent Workforce & Agency Management

  • Take ownership of contingent hiring processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
  • Manage external agencies and act as the primary point of contact for the Germany Hub contingent workforce solution
  • Coordinate closely with all stakeholders involved in contingent hiring

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including projects such as Sales Pipelining
  • Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, delivery, and candidate experience
  • Support broader talent initiatives aligned to business growth

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment (in-house, agency, or RPO)
  • Strong experience working across multiple requisitions and stakeholder groups
  • Exposure to contingent workforce / agency management
  • Ability to recruit across a mix of volume and specialist roles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent German and English (essential)
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
