Location: Aberdeen

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.

This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.

We are currently recruiting for a Recruiter to join our friendly, fast-paced established team on a fixed term contract of 6 months. The recruiter will be responsible for vacancies at all levels and disciplines for all functions/specialism/business areas across the UK.

The job holder will be responsible for the full recruitment process from receiving request, advertising and sourcing excellent talent for our business. The recruiter will manage vacancies and adhere to appropriate timescales ensuring the expectations of candidates and hiring managers are met.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business needs and respond to requests for resourcing support in a timely manner.
  • Establish strong internal working relationships with particular function/specialism/business area, providing updates on resourcing progress.
  • Strong experience in resourcing external labour directly across multiple trade disciplines.
  • Active presence on Linked In promoting new vacancies and connecting with potential candidates.
  • Arranging interviews for both white and blue collar vacancies.
  • Proactively create pipelines of talent to meet future needs.
  • Review job and person specifications to ensure accuracy and a true understanding of the requirement.
  • Ensure that internal function/specialism/business area understand the recruitment process and provide guidance when required and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Actively and professionally promote vacancies using employer brand to relevant targeted audience on available media channels and platforms.
  • Attend relevant resource meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on vacancy, progress, discuss outcome.
  • Manage vacancy through ATS ensuring the candidate and vacancy data is accurate.
  • Provide timely and detailed feedback to candidates throughout their recruitment application process.
  • Work with HR team to ensure the timely process of onboarding.
  • Attending Career fairs – promoting branding at event, establishing connections with universities and attending events.
