Client Account Manager
Job Title: Recruitment Client Account Manager
Location: Darlington (Office Based with Client Visits)
Reports to: Operations Manager / Leadership Team

The Opportunity:
This is a relationship-focused role where you will work closely with established clients, visiting sites regularly, inducting new starters, supporting temporary workers and ensuring every placement is successful. You will play a key role in strengthening client partnerships through exceptional communication, responsiveness and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for allocated client accounts.
- Conduct regular site visits to review workforce performance and client satisfaction.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and operational teams.
- Hold service review meetings and identify opportunities to enhance delivery.

Candidate Onboarding & Inductions
- Welcome new starters and deliver engaging site inductions.
- Ensure candidates understand client expectations, health and safety requirements and assignment details.
- Conduct first-day and ongoing welfare checks.
- Support candidates throughout their assignments to maximise retention and engagement.
Operational Delivery
- Coordinate with recruiters to ensure smooth mobilisation of workers.
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping and assignment performance.
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally, escalating where appropriate.
- Support redeployment planning and workforce continuity.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure all recruitment documentation and compliance checks are completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems.
- Support payroll queries, holiday requests and assignment changes.
- Ensure client-specific procedures and standards are consistently followed.
Service Excellence
- Champion a people-first approach that balances outstanding customer service with commercial awareness.
- Gather feedback from clients and workers to support continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with recruitment consultants, resources and management to deliver exceptional outcomes.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience in recruitment, account management, customer service or operational client support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage at all levels.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure and able to solve problems proactively.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Passion for creating positive experiences for both clients and candidates.
