Role Overview
:Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Administrator to join us on a fixed term contract until February 2027. Our vision is to provide fantastic homes and services by brilliant people, so you’ll have a key role in supporting us to attract the best talent into Thirteen. If you’re knowledgeable and passionate about all things recruitment and talent, we want to hear from you!
This is a hybrid role, so you’ll be expected to work from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough at least one day a week. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required, to support with interviews and attend events.

Key Responsibilities
- As the backbone of our team of 3, you’ll support Rachael and Danielle to provide an outstanding and seamless service to candidates and hiring managers across Thirteen. We have a vast range of roles, so it’s certainly varied.
- Ensure that recruitment cycle moves quickly and efficiently, reducing time and cost to hire wherever possible. You’ll process a range of recruitment transactions such as advertising roles, screening candidates and organising interviews, using our applicant tracking system, Jobtrain.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. You’ll support the Talent Co-ordinator to attract and select the best candidates by designing a process to get the best out of candidates.
- Attend recruitment events and organise talent open days to attract the very best candidates to Thirteen.
- Support with a variety of projects such as embedding a range of EDI initiatives, ATS development, and raising our profile to be seen as an employer of choice.

About You
- With your recruitment / talent acquisition knowledge, you’ll confidently support the full recruitment lifecycle and provide a first-class administration service.
- We use Jobtrain as our applicant tracking system. We’re not expecting you to have used this system previously, but you’ll be comfortable using an ATS and be inquisitive about system development to streamline and enhance our processes.
- You should be proactive and solutions-oriented, with continuous improvement at the heart of what you do. As a small team, we welcome someone who will put forward innovative ideas.
- You’ll be juggling lots of roles at various stages of the process and you’ll need to react to issues swiftly when they arise, so you’ll be organised and diligent.
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills. You’ll be a great communicator at all levels and someone who isn’t afraid to professionally challenge and offer alternative solutions.
- Providing brilliant customer service is central to this role. You’ll be knowledgeable on talent-related topics, and able to build effective relationships to deliver a high-quality talent administration service to candidates and hiring managers.
