Permanent, Full Time – 36.25 hours per week
At Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG), we're passionate about creating opportunities for people to reach their full potential through education and skills development.
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Recruitment Advisor to join our Talent Attraction Team and play a key role in shaping our recruitment activity across the Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for an in-house recruitment professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, delivering outstanding recruitment experiences, and making a real impact through talent attraction and employer branding initiatives.
The Role
As a Recruitment Advisor, you'll partner with hiring managers across the Group to deliver a professional, efficient and candidate-focused recruitment service from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
- Provide expert advice on recruitment best practice
- Support managers throughout the hiring process
- Develop effective attraction strategies to ensure we continue to attract diverse, high-quality candidates
- Contribute to employer branding activity, talent pipelining, recruitment marketing and continuous improvement initiatives
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From advising managers and supporting interviews to analysing recruitment data and attending careers events, you'll play a vital role in helping us build a workforce that makes a difference to our students and communities.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment within an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition environment.
- Has experience partnering with hiring managers and influencing recruitment and selection decisions.
- Can effectively manage multiple vacancies, priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Has experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems.
- Possesses a strong understanding of recruitment and selection best practice and relevant employment legislation.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills and can engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Is highly organised, detail-focused and able to maintain accuracy when managing competing priorities.
- Can interpret recruitment data and use insights to improve processes and outcomes.
- Takes a proactive, solutions-focused approach and is comfortable working independently.
- Is passionate about delivering an exceptional recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive recruitment practices, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Holds a CIPD Level 3 qualification as a minimum requirement.
- Holds a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent recruitment experience (desirable).
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Is willing to travel between campuses when required.
