Recruitment and Admissions Manager, MBA

London Business School is looking for a permanent Recruitment and Admissions Manager, MBA to join the Degree Education team.

About the Role

The main purpose of this role is to work as part of the MBA Recruitment & Admissions Team, identifying the highest quality MBA applicants, building relationships with candidates, and persuading top talent to join London Business School. This involves:

  • Promoting the school at events in the UK and internationally
  • Stretching revenue and volume targets

The MBA Recruitment & Admissions Team operates in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and demanding professional environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • A capacity to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A sense of urgency

Main Responsibilities

  • Application Review & Selection – Assess MBA applications while meeting class targets and maintaining school standards

  • Candidate Relationship Management –

    • Manage applicants within your specified region(s)
    • Provide clear advice and guidance throughout the admission process
    • Positively shape candidates’ perceptions of our programme and School
  • Interview Coordination – Arrange interviews for MBA applicants with our Alumni networks

  • Ambassador & Representation –

    • Act as an ambassador for London Business School
    • Represent the School at UK and occasional overseas events, including promotions (fairs and presentations)
  • Candidate Advice Sessions

    • Deliver regular small-group advice sessions (drop-in and informational sessions)
    • Conduct conducted tours of the School

  • Event Coordination Support – Assist in organizing and managing overseas promotional events, which includes:
    • Recruiting Alumni for panel discussions and fair participation

Who We Are Looking For

  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder engagement experience, ideally managing diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of engagement/sales techniques applicable in recruitment
  • Outstanding customer service orientation
  • International experience or global awareness, with an understanding of cultural diversity
  • Familiarity with the Higher Education sector, recruitment industry, or professional services (preferred)
  • An understanding of the business education market and MBA market (preferred)
