Join us as a Marketing and Engagement (Employability) Officer at Thirteen Group!

Thirteen Group is looking to build a talent pool for Marketing and Engagement (Employability) Officers (internally known as a Recruitment and Communications Officer) to join our Employability team. This role focuses on promoting our Employability Service, raising awareness, and engaging with customers and partners to maximise participation and positive outcomes.

This is a roaming role, so you’ll work across our communities and from home, with access to our office at Hudson Quay, Middlesbrough. You’ll need to be flexible to meet business and team needs.

This is a talent pool application - we are not actively recruiting to a vacancy, but building a pool of qualified candidates we can extend offers to when a position arises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns and engagement initiatives to promote the Employability Service
  • Create engaging content across social media, websites and marketing materials to increase awareness and participation
  • Organise and attend events such as career fairs, workshops and community activities to generate referrals
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal teams, community groups and external organisations
  • Identify and engage potential participants, ensuring a positive and timely customer experience
  • Monitor campaign performance and engagement data to inform continuous improvement and decision-making

About You

  • Experience of developing marketing campaigns, including social media engagement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence a range of audiences
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service across a variety of channels
  • Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and collaborative relationships
  • Confident using IT systems and digital platforms to manage communications and data
