We're looking for a Recruitment & Training Coordinator to join our People team. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in attracting great talent, supporting new colleagues through their onboarding journey.
Description
As our Recruitment & Training Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the recruitment process from advert to induction, ensuring every candidate receives a professional and positive experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and advertising vacancies across a range of recruitment platforms and internal channels.
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process using our HR system.
- Screening applications and coordinating recruitment campaigns across the business.
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and provide regular updates.
- Communicating with candidates throughout their recruitment journey, including interview invitations, feedback and offer discussions.
- Arranging and conducting interviews where appropriate.
- Completing all pre-employment checks, including references, right to work checks, DBS checks, medical appointments and drug & alcohol testing where required.
- Preparing contracts, offer packs and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinating induction dates and supporting new starters as they join the business.
- Attending recruitment events and careers fairs to promote opportunities within the company.
- Supporting the coordination of training programmes, induction sessions and CPC courses.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment, onboarding and training records, dashboards and reporting.
- Working with the wider People team to continually improve recruitment processes and the candidate experience.
- Providing occasional HR administrative support, including note-taking during employee relations meetings when required.

Profile
You'll be someone who enjoys working at pace and can confidently juggle multiple vacancies and priorities without compromising on quality.

- At least two years' recruitment experience with a good understanding of recruitment legislation and best practice.
- Previous administration experience in a busy environment.
- Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships with candidates, managers and colleagues at every level.
- The ability to prioritise a high volume of applications while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.
- A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel between sites
- A full driving licence and access to transport
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.
