We're looking for a driven, sales-focused recruitment professional to grow our contract recruitment portfolio across the South of England.
This role is ideal for an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant, 180 Business Development Consultant, Recruitment Sales Professional, or New Business Manager who thrives on opening doors, building client relationships, and securing new recruitment partnerships. Engineering recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential, we welcome applications from successful recruiters with a background in any sector and proven experience winning contract recruitment business.
The Role
As a Recruitment Business Development Manager, you'll focus on developing new client relationships and generating contract recruitment opportunities across the South. You'll receive a targeted prospect list from day one, including both new companies and former clients, giving you immediate opportunities to build a strong pipeline and win business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Winning new contract recruitment business
- Building relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers
- Re-engaging lapsed clients and converting opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed business
- Attending client meetings and networking events
- Working closely with delivery teams to ensure excellent client service
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets
What We're Looking For
- Recruitment industry experience
- Proven track record of winning new business
- Contract recruitment experience
- Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Within commuting distance of Reading
