About Orion Group

For over 35 years, Orion Group has been a global leader in workforce solutions, supporting the energy, engineering and life sciences sectors across more than 60 countries.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Business Partner to join our Managed Service Programme (MSP) team, supporting one of our key strategic energy clients.

Based from our modern Altrincham office, this is a client-facing role that combines recruitment, stakeholder management and contractor management. The successful candidate will also spend approximately two days per month at the client's project site in Barrow-in-Furness, working closely with hiring managers and project stakeholders.

The Opportunity

As Senior Recruitment Business Partner, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for a high-profile engineering and energy client, acting as a trusted recruitment advisor to hiring managers and HR teams.

Working within Orion's MSP team, you'll manage contractor recruitment campaigns, build strong client relationships, coordinate supplier performance and ensure an exceptional experience for both candidates and stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
