Location: Altrincham, Manchester (Hybrid)
Travel: Regular travel to client project site in Barrow-in-Furness (approximately twice per month)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Business Partner to join our Managed Service Programme (MSP) team, supporting one of our key strategic energy clients.
Based from our modern Altrincham office, this is a client-facing role that combines recruitment, stakeholder management and contractor management. The successful candidate will also spend approximately two days per month at the client's project site in Barrow-in-Furness, working closely with hiring managers and project stakeholders.
The Opportunity
As Senior Recruitment Business Partner, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for a high-profile engineering and energy client, acting as a trusted recruitment advisor to hiring managers and HR teams.
Working within Orion's MSP team, you'll manage contractor recruitment campaigns, build strong client relationships, coordinate supplier performance and ensure an exceptional experience for both candidates and stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter looking to move into a true business partnering role with significant client exposure and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full contractor recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to onboarding.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and HR teams, providing recruitment advice and market insight.
- Lead recruitment kick-off meetings and agree recruitment strategies, timelines and delivery plans.
- Screen, shortlist and present high-quality candidates via the MSP platform.
- Coordinate interviews, offers and onboarding activities.
- Attend regular meetings with client stakeholders both remotely and on-site to support workforce planning and recruitment activity.
- Manage relationships with Preferred Supplier List (PSL) agencies, monitoring performance and driving service excellence.
- Produce recruitment reports, market intelligence and contractor activity updates.
- Support contractor mobilisation, compliance and onboarding.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and enhance MSP performance.
About You
We're looking for an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys working closely with clients and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within an MSP, RPO, embedded recruitment or agency recruitment environment.
- Experience recruiting within Engineering, Energy, Construction, Manufacturing or other technical sectors.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Confidence working directly with senior hiring managers and client stakeholders.
- Experience using ATS, VMS or MSP recruitment platforms.
- A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to the client site in Barrow-in-Furness (approximately twice per month).
