Recruitment & Compliance Manager
Location: Rayleigh (Office Based)
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Role Purpose
The Recruitment & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading Kinect’s recruitment function while ensuring robust compliance, governance, and workforce assurance processes are maintained across the organisation.
The role exists to provide strong operational leadership across recruitment delivery, staff onboarding, compliance management, and workforce development, while supporting the organisation’s wider growth objectives through effective marketing, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
The Recruitment & Compliance Manager will oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, manage and develop the internal recruitment team, and ensure all recruitment and compliance activity is delivered to a high professional standard in line with safeguarding, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
This is a hands-on management role requiring strong organisational capability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance operational delivery with strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage and support the Recruitment team, providing leadership, structure, and accountability, while promoting a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
- Manage recruitment pipelines to ensure operational staffing requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
- Produce accurate recruitment, compliance, and workforce reports for Senior Leadership Team review.
- Oversee all recruitment compliance processes to ensure full adherence to company, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse recruitment trends, staffing data, and performance metrics to support operational decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs relating to recruitment activity, compliance completion, retention, and onboarding performance.
- Monitor recruitment performance, identify gaps or delays, and implement improvements where required.
- Take ownership of recruitment-related social media channels and digital candidate attraction activity.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver recruitment marketing campaigns to support hiring objectives and brand visibility.
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for the Recruitment Team, as well as the wider company.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven management experience within Recruitment, HR, or workforce operations.
- Strong background in end-to-end recruitment and compliance-led processes, as well as knowledge of safer recruitment and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience producing reports, analysing data, and presenting findings to senior leadership
- Experience within transport, education, healthcare, care, or service-led sectors would be ideal, but is not essential
- Experience managing recruitment marketing or social media campaigns
- Confident use of digital systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
This role is critical to supporting Kinect’s workforce growth, maintaining strong compliance standards, and ensuring the organisation attracts, recruits, and retains high-quality staff aligned with its operational and safeguarding commitments.
