White Collar Consultant – Construction Recruitment

Location: Bristol (with scope to grow into Cardiff)

Are you an experienced recruiter already billing well in construction, ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a White Collar Consultant to join our Bristol team, with real scope to build and shape a desk of your own.

This is a genuine opportunity for someone with strong BD instincts. You won't be walking into a plug-and-play desk, but you will have a strong foundation to work from: existing relationships, a number of live PSLs, and a network that spans pretty much every corner of the region. What you make of it from there is down to you.

About O'Neill & Brennan

O'Neill & Brennan is a family-run construction recruitment brand, offering blue and white collar recruitment alongside logistics and site services, with 14 offices across the UK and Ireland. Our people are treated with respect, given genuine autonomy, and benefit from an open-door culture - you'll always have direct access to leadership and the support to do things your way.

About the Role

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be an expert in white collar construction recruitment, comfortable building new relationships as well as developing existing ones. You'll work closely with our Regional Director, Adam Badman, through direct mentorship and collaboration, while having the autonomy to shape the desk your way, including the opportunity to expand into the Cardiff region.

This role suits someone who wants to build something rather than simply maintain it - someone who sees the value in a strong existing network and knows how to grow it further through their own BD.
