We’re looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to develop a profitable Temp/Perm desk through proactive business development and high-quality candidate delivery. You’ll take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, winning new clients, filling bookings, and building long-term partnerships, while consistently meeting and exceeding gross profit (GP) targets.
What you’ll be doing
- Win new business: identify, approach, and convert prospects into active clients
- Manage the full Temp & Perm recruitment process from brief to placement
- Source, attract, and qualify candidates using multiple channels (ads, CRM/ATS, networking, referrals)
- Deliver a high-standard client experience: manage expectations, feedback, and hiring timelines
- Maintain and grow a strong local market presence (Business development)
- Negotiate terms, fees/rates, and improve margins while protecting service quality
- Ensure compliant, efficient recruitment processes and accurate system records

What we’re looking for
- Proven recruitment experience (Temp, Perm, or both), ideally in a fast-paced market
- Strong business development capability with evidence of GP/target achievement
- Confident sourcing and qualification skills (screening, interviewing, referencing)
- Commercial approach to margins, pricing, and client management
- Ability to understand technical/job requirements quickly and present credible shortlists
- Resilient, organized, and able to prioritize in a high-volume environment
