Recruitment Consultant, DACH AI and DeepTech
DeepRec.ai is a specialist recruitment business focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and DeepTech. We work with venture-backed startups, growing technology businesses, research-led teams, and major organizations across Europe.
We are now looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the team and build their own market within one of the most active areas in technology hiring.
The Opportunity
This is a role for someone who wants more ownership of their desk, stronger earning potential, and the chance to work in a market with genuine long-term demand.
- Join an experienced DACH team and work across roles within AI, Machine Learning, Data, Software Engineering, and DeepTech.
- Have the freedom to grow your own client base, develop long-term relationships, and become known within a specialist market.
- This is not a role where you are handed a narrow list of accounts and expected to stay within it. You will have the support, tools, brand, and job flow to build something of your own.
What You Will Be Doing
- Building relationships with startups, scaleups, consultancies, and larger technology businesses across the DACH region.
- Developing new client accounts through targeted outreach, meetings, networking, and market insight.
- Managing recruitment processes from initial brief through to offer and placement.
- Building specialist candidate networks across AI, Machine Learning, Data, and Software Engineering.
- Advising clients on talent availability, salary levels, hiring processes, and market competition.
- Working closely with the wider DeepRec.ai team to share leads, market knowledge, and candidate relationships.
- Creating a strong personal presence within the AI hiring community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Care about the quality of your work and the reputation you build with clients and candidates.
